The first Open Archival Data Hackathon will take place on 9 June 2017 at the State Archives of the canton of Zurich.
The event that serves as a pre-event in view of the third Swiss Open Cultural Data Hackathon in Lausanne, later this year, is organized by the following archives:
- Stadtarchiv Zürich
- Stadtarchiv Winterthur
- Stadtarchiv Uster
- Schweizerisches Sozialarchiv
- Staatsarchiv des Kantons Zürich
In addition to the organizers, the archives of the ETH will also provide data sets.
We're looking for people interested in participating in an event that brings together century old archival documents with current technologies. Save the date today.

The event is part of the VSA Archivtag 2017. On the same day, a Wikipedia editathon will take place at ETH.
